I understand we should not have personal documents on work laptop but if you have them, how are you transferring them? Is email the best way to go

I was laid off last year - you can email personal documents but don’t email any project work.
I emailed an image from a work presentation because it had a photo of my team and got a warning email from security with by boss CC’d.
What about IDPs, copies of old reviews, basic development exercises etc? It’s not anything proprietary to Target. I would think things like that would be fine to transfer to yourself, right?

Personal Documents are fine but keep in mind if you can see them so can they... Having your resume on your machine is not out of the ordinary since you can apply to other internal jobs while being employed.
