There seems to be less of them right now, but HR is fond of the "pipeline" or "evergreen" job listing strategy.
35-45 level roles very easy to recruit against. 45-50 very difficult. Also hard to convince someone to jump to Nike right now. Specialists at that level don’t have a hard on for Nike like ICs. Remote helps but not going to be deciding factor for top talent.
@OP Most roles already have preferred candidates identified, and it's not hard to fill out an interview roster with other interested candidates (leadership always has a short list of those identified as high potential), so no need to keep job postings up for long.
