No shade 😅 but I’ve been with my state health plan for a bit and just found out we even have a corporate marketing team. Like… what do they actually do? I asked my team and someone said, “they su-k, we don’t use them … we just do our own.” So now I’m like… if no one uses them, what’s the point? How do they add value? Not hating … but anyone had a good experience with them?

@1ab member is in each of the business units and so messy. Keep hoping someone will actually fix it.
@157 why don’t they do member facing? What team does that
@14b this is part of the issue. Corporate marketing doesn’t even do member materials - that’s a whole other mess. Corporate does prospect/new business growth only but gets blamed for anything messy that has a logo on it.
@jc do you think that is possible considering how Centene has built around the local marketing? Marketing seems to support local approaches
If you want to play with the big dogs like United you have to move away from local presence.
LOL ok
What you need to more concerned about is corporate taking away all marketing at the local level. Of course the people who do it think it’s necessary. Corporate disagrees. It’s only a matter of time (looking at you, Caid).
Marketing is really about selling yourself as a fake commodity. They make their tu-d look like a gold brick. Then they move to another company where they don't know them and can hide their incompetence once again.
