Is announcing an Upstream move to Edmonton a way to get people to quit ?
The Oilers are offering $15 Million to McDavid and he still wants to leave Deadmonton .

Edmontonian here, it’s not all bad. Here are some great things about Edmonton:
- River valley hiking and biking is amazing
- The mall is awesome as far as malls go
- Car insurance is a full $1000/yr cheaper than in Calgary
- Whyte Ave and the Fringe are way edgier and cooler than most arts scenes
- more winter festivals where ice is available
- Jasper is way less crazy busy than Banff/Canmore
- Arena district is new and vibrant
- Craft brewery tours are awesome
- We have a new direct flight to Houston now
