Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Kansas City

Has anyone heard what is happening with the new KC campus? I’ve heard a few rumors that Hagerstown and Coral will close as they have no more tax incentives and employees will be “offered” relocation to KC.

I heard we are moving all offices to Paris France. That's good. We can join the union.

The baseball team owns the mortgage, that is all. The governor didn’t allow the stadium to be built because then the state wood look like fools and it would open a lawsuit from Fiserv

@rj I had poked around this morning and found out building 2 is rumored to be on the chopping block and consolidating most into building 1.

Building 1 is mainly customer service. I imagine those folks would be the first to go since a) they want that function done by AI and b) the lowest hanging fruit, pay wise.

Not sure what positions you’re referring to directly at these brick and mortar locations, but I thought I would add to this that I am an independent contractor in training for a position servicing the fiserv account. We all work from home. We are basically customer service people. My trainer is in the Philippines. All I know is we’ve been told fiserv is going to be using more and more of the human resources at the virtual solution solutions company I’ll be contracting with. I hope that helps

@rh Where have you been? Old news. A baseball team already is taking that office location.

@re there is no need to lie. The truth here is bad enough. We already have 2 locations in Pittsburgh from before Lyons.

@rj eventually even bandaids break and Jason knew it.

@pf I work in Coral as well. There is no money to fix anything. The only work being done is to bring the elevators and fire system up to code so the building can be sold. Both buildings have plumbing problems that are too expensive to fix. They are in a maintain state only. Even Jason from facilities left.

Mike hasn't announced it yet but there will be a new site announced in his hometown of Pittsburg, PA. We are currently in negotiations with the state for tax incentives. Announcement should be out by the end of this year.

@d6 I work there in building 2 and hadn't heard any such rumors about closure. That's all people do here is spread rumors. Y'all need something better to do with your life.

At least Kansas City has a ton of parking garages and other amenities unlike BH.

I think the end result will be
BH
Alpharetta
Milwaukee
Kansas City
Omaha
Frisco

Has anyone heard what the future holds for the Wilmington, DE? It’s been rumored for years this site was closing,… buy this and as several years ago. BUT I do agree with some of the posters here have said about bad rumors on this site. In any case, hope for the best for the employees affected by closing.

There was a RUMOR here, 100% certainty, a few years ago that Alpharetta would definate close --- still waiting. Do not trust rumors on this board, trust facts.

Coral is falling apart. They have not invested a penny except for a few buckets of orange paint. I heard the same about Coral that it won’t be around much longer.

Renovations are meaningless. Multiple offices went through renovations and then closed.

Hagerstown is closing by end of 2026. The renovations are part of an agreement with the landlord to prepare the buildings for sale/new tenant. They're even draining and cleaning the generator fuel tanks because the buildings can't be vacated with flammable materials in storage. Sorry hagerstown but our days are numbered.

Coral isn't going anywhere, son. That's a rumor and unsubstantiated one at that.

@OP have not heard of this. They are doing renovations to the Hagerstown site so not sure why they would do that if planning to close.
