Has anyone else heard offers have been recended to employees in Sherman? Some were promised roles in other fabs last year. I've heard the offers are no longer being honored.

I don't know about "rescended" but all other offers for new grads are being rescinded. You'll probably be OK with your H1B.
Entirety of SFAB engineering/technician staff has been offered severance/furloughed after being given written advanced offers for new positions at other north Dallas fabs in the summer of 2024. Including all NCGs and veteran employees regardless of performance. ~200 employees
@c0 I feel bad for them! If they're already working in Sherman, wouldn't they like to keep the local talent pool? I guess when SM1 starts to ramp, they might have to re-hire. Or pay relocation packages to bring in fresh talent.
I heard last Friday the same, SFAB folks whom had been offered SM1 jobs had the offers rescinded.
