Is someone/anyone getting laid off for the sh-t show that was ISO 20022 wire debacle? Touting that they worked on it for 3 years and the roll out in July was horrible, and still having impacts to our customers because the vendor we're using can't handle the volume. Calling the wire room is useless as you can call 3 times and get 3 different answers as to what is going on

And the id--t CIO that got fired is on to his next gig probably to sc--w up some more.
How poorly this was executed and delivered has resulted in long-time financial institutions moving their business elsewhere. I would have guessed this would have went better after the debacle in March of 2024.
Heard the same wire room chaos—Reddit's got real estate folks raging about delayed closings from the July 14 ISO switch.
Vendor volume fail is on them, not us grunts fixing MRAs. Berwick's CIO scapegoat move? Classic. No $9B headlines yet, but if it hits regulators, heads roll mid-level. Update resumes, folks—fintech's hiring ISO pros. Stay sane: log everything, detach from the clowns.
How come this is the first I have heard of this? This should be reported to the Times.
The ISO20022 payments sc--wup shows how bad tech has gotten after SMEs and senior developers have left.
9 billion in bad payments went out.
Berwick survived by firing her cio Christensen. That simple, nevermind the incompetence of the dev teams involved.
There's no accountability here. My team works on the remediation of several pesky MRAs for some bad leaders. The people who dropped the ball are passed from team to team, sometimes even promoted, but never fired. Sometimes they're even allowed to stick around to torture the people actually trying to fix the problems with their nonsense. Eventually, you see them for the losers they are and stop caring too, and then you will be free. Try to get to not caring as fast as you can for your own sanity if you can't get out immediately.
Please provide more details. Always curious about this. Isn’t Berwick (CCIBT Technology; 2 down from ceo) responsible for this? How did she survive?
