I am mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted with all the uncertainty that’s going on and dealing with a manager who’s an absolute bully. It feels like I’m clinically depressed and trapped.

@1jb Dell pays you a living wage? You lucky sonovabitch. I'd need a $10/hour raise to get close to a living wage. As it is I work 2 jobs (my wife works full time as well) and we had to be lucky enough to find a ki-ler deal on a very run down house we're very slowly fixing up.
So am I, but I still can't find a new living, wage job to go to that will give me the pay ( need (so I can quit the second job) and the schedule I need.
The last manager who played this game with me ended up crying at his desk.
I don't put up with b/s in the company.
@dk its GOT to be. And to the people saying open an HR case, many have and nothing has been done about the hostile environment.
This is when you start looking for a new job hard, then when you find one... take it. And in the meantime, take your manager/bully for a rollercoaster ride they won't forget. Play games w/ him. Make their life a living he-l because realistically, most directs can absolutely do things to make a manager stressed beyond belief.
@a8 You say that, but every last person that I know that gas opened HR tickets iim tbe last 10 years has been layed off or PIPed out of their jobs.
Totally, make records, open a case. Let them spend their time and money.
Don’t bow down to any bully, turn their a-s into hr or ethics. Life is too short to deal with this kind of management. If the bullying continues, document incidents and report them. Words are powerful, but systems exist to back you up when boundaries are crossed.
Play mind games with the bully for fun.
