Thread regarding Wayfair Inc. layoffs

Changing Roles and Moving Schedules?

A mandatory shift bid, AI, moving people’s roles, changing up departments (Which can often be a sign of layoffs creeping up), and changing metrics? Some of this helps, but I feel as if these changes are being implemented to make a lot of people voluntarily leave to avoid layoffs. It smells of constructive dismissal/discharge in some form. Maybe I’m wrong. This job has had its pros and cons. I’m sorry to those of you who have to endure whatever Wayfair throws.

I wondered if they outright lied about the survey results, but it's more likely that non NA employees are just glad to have jobs, and to he-l with NA employees.

The voice survey is wrong. No way it has improved.

It isn't mindless speculation. It is obvious to anybody with two brain cells, that the company is trying to push people out so they won't have to pay severance. Fortunately for Wayfair, NA people are leaving. The latest Voice survey results, if we are to believe what we are told, show improved sentiment among employees. Which employees?

@d2 Sorry, I mentioned that maybe I am wrong. It’s also a page dedicated to Layoffs for this company, so it’s something that you should except to see often. What I mentioned is not only evolution but also a potential opportunity for people to lose their jobs due to this “evolution.”

This is a sign of evolution, changing demands and capabilities. Mindless speculation does not help anybody. There is enough paranoia on this page, without adding to it.
