The useless ones make it through because they make mid level to lower upper management feel good. Most would not make it on the outside of the company so they continue to be limp biscuits with no pride!
Just wait for the stock to drop below $16.

@24t Ha ha! Once you pass the 5 year mark of uselessness, you're pretty much free to skate by until you leave on your own. But why would you leave such a cush gig, just do nothing, take credit, and when something goes wrong, blame others. Always amazed when I see that special someone roaming the halls, why/how are you still here, and who is protecting you?
Maybe they'll finally layoff the right people this time. Get rid of those who continue to fail up for some reason while they fire the people who actually were good at their jobs.

Feb 12: Announce earnings, net loss and decreasing top line, stock tanks 5%
Feb 26: 10-K filing disclosing data breaches currently not disclosed, stock tanks another 5%
Mar 13: Leaders are told no bonuses this year (Friday the 13th)
Mat 23: Layoffs begin

I feel the same way. I’m going to start looking for a new job. It’s sad because I love what I do, but management and unfairness are hurting my soul.
