Management hasn't said or done anything to indicate layoffs in Marketing are over. That probably means there will be layoffs. I have no evidence they will, but I'm preparing.

One of the VPs held a skip level recently that was less than encouraging. More opmodel changes likely incoming, looking to move quick, limited to no job mobility for remote workers seems like the new norm. Given all that, would not be surprised in the least if we see rif as well.
No layoffs yet. The next five weeks is the danger zone.
Its almost like having a EC 'Leader' that was a business graduate from Wharton (how many times did we hear that fact?!?) with zero Marketing experience not located at the HO was a bad thing.
Imagine that.
Strategy and ops-wise marketing is such a train wreck, leadership has no vision or credibility. Lindsey is fine, but she's inherited a hornet nest of dysfunction, and the rest I trust about as far as I can throw them. If you just paid attention externally to our media/ad work you'd think we actually had our act together.... if people only knew. Honestly, I think the only way you get rid of some of the inertia is through attrition or outright layoffs - both very likely.
Think of it this way. If what new products are there where marketing is needed to drum up membership? Banking isn’t even allowed to expand membership which has a downstream impact on life and property. So it will only shrink.
