I’ve learned the hard way not to get emotionally attached to a company. Treat it like a job, not a family or a mission. Give your best at work, but don’t let it control your life or define your self-worth. Trust me, nothing good comes from being a company cultist. You'll be laid off just like the rest of us when the time comes.

Nobody is getting emotionally attached to this s-h-!-t hole
Through my 30 years here, I've seen numerous people who lived and breathed the company get laid off. These people worked weekends and nights, only to get the boot at the end.
Its not worth it folks, live your life and sc--w this place. Do your work and go home and disconnect, tomorrow is another day. Do not make this place your life.
This is not even a job to me. It is simply something unpleasant I endure to pay bills. Kind of like when a toilet backs up or a glass pot shatters. It’s clean up and dirty work. And the words thrive and together are just more meaningless garbage.
Nothing more.
Will RV be supplying us with chai instead?
BNY has become a place to make your way through rush hour traffic and drink free coffee all morning, worry and fret about whether you'll be terminated today or tomorrow, spend the afternoon evacuating the free coffee and then make your way home through rush hour traffic. Nothing more.
