Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Ethics team is a joke

I know multiple people who filed factual ethics complaints and these were dismissed with no action being taken. Is HR behind this charade?

It used to not be this way. The last couple of years has been a s&$@ show with HR and Ethics. Anyone know what’s happening there in HR or Ethics or both teams?

@ej lost a large team, used to own 2 risk stripes, reported to an MC member and now he’s a middle manager in an areas he knows nothing about. AR should have been shown the door.

@dp he didn’t get put out to pasture though. Just moved elsewhere in the organization.

Most business owners (borrowers) actually have employees that they value, such that they understand how a bank treats its employees is comparable to how they will treat their customer, how you move from lofty perches into the real world of banking and supporting your customers is where the bank continually falls down on the job, primarily because they don't understand the banking and payments business and won't listen to the employees and shareholder who do.

The person who was in charge of reputation and strategic risk was a really bad person with highly questionable ethics, and he ended up getting put out to pasture, so there is hope!

CFPB and the OCC along with legacy shareholders which have exited would probably agree with the original post.

us bank is completely bereft of any ethics and redeeming qualities as an employer. If you are working for the bank, consider getting the heck out before it is too late. if you are considering the bank, steer clear.

Did the reporting parties make themselves available for follow up questions? Or did they provide any proof of their claims? Without those things, probably won’t go anywhere. Also need multiple reports, so if things keep happening, keep reporting

HR is not and never has been a friend to the employee. Might be a good question for the former chief ethics officer. Take your complaints to your AG or raise those issues with the General Services Administration or any federal agency, as that is the only thing that gets anybody's attention anymore.

You must understand what HR means. Human Remains. HR is there to protect the company not the employee. HR is not your union representative. Snap.
