Sounds like last layoff hit any fully remote worker? Did anyone survive or did they wipe that slate clean in the impacted departments? Were those affected given a relocation offer or just let go? Worried about my future with the company.

Lots of remote people were let go, but no one noticed. Remote people don’t really work.
@md Plenty of really good people were laid off at TMo this month. Mostly due to having to keep some of the USCC ppl as part of the acquisition contract language that certain numbers of their people had to keep jobs.
Only worthless people were laid off this month. This includes some remote and some hybrid. But only worthless people.
@kg Didn't they already try this when Digital was moved under MIX?
I know a couple of employees on my IT team that are fully remote did not get cut.
@jh IT was just re-orged under Marketing.
@g5 Further evidence the full and complete enshitification of Toxic-Mobile's IT Org which began four or so years ago.
@g5 T-Mobile is a shadow of what they used to be. They haven't been the "uncarrier" or Team Magenta in a very long time. They are happy to use you up and work you to the bone and keep terrible managers and get rid of good people. They will always choose the cheapest way and it pains me to say I thought this might be a different, great place to work. But no. They completely turned over 100 lives in IT upside down to save possible 0.01% of their profits.
I haven’t seen H1B employees getting laid off only U.S. citizens and permanent residents. It feels like discrimination, and HR hasn’t addressed it. I work in Ulf’s organization, and I know highly skilled U.S. citizens who were let go, while certain H1B employees with poor collaboration and attitude issues not only kept their jobs but were even promoted. This situation deserves an investigation, and it may warrant escalation to USCIS and the Department of Labor.
I know 3 remote people that are still around so I don't think they targeted all remote employees
There is no future with this company.
