Thougths on selling Fab to Softbank

not sure what to think here, sometimes i think it's the only viable option for moving forward. i just do not trust the bozos sitting in the ivory tower, they cannot do anything meaningful (aside from lining their own pockets and playing with careers of folks in the trenches)

@g4 Samsung and Intel have previously discussed turning IFS into a JV, and that is what appears to be in progress now.

IFS is spun off and invested in by various interested companies, maybe including TSMC and a few of the larger tech companies.

It is not about which company owns the manufacturing, it is the people inside and culture which are too corrupted and incapable. The current people are lagging technology and engineering mindset. Having politicians, MBA, gangsters as leaders in Intel is a complete joke, no hope.
