Management keeps praising people who push endless tasks onto others instead of fixing the problem. The same few employees get buried in extra work while leaders act like that is normal. Someone needs to take a hard look at how this place is being run, and I mean now.

Also they change my completed work as someone else had completed it.
What’s sad is when you speak up regarding being overworked, and that you need help…. Everyone just shrugs and expects you to figure it out. We aren’t robots. The powers that be do NOT care. You speak up and become a target.
My team has hemorrhaged people over the last year, due to both key RIFs and attrition because of them. Everyone left is now completely overworked and also looking to leave because they can't keep up with the work and know they could end up on the next list even if they ki-l themselves trying. We've lost four voluntarily in the last week alone, with more on their way out.
I did the work of 2.5 people for nearly 5 years until my job was in a Rif last year. At first I was working so much trying to get it all done like I was 2.5 people, then I stopped doing that. I started talking reality to my managers, that I could not get A and B done on-time... just A or B...and choose. I started working just my 8 hours and only worked over if it was something really critical... but I started asking making it clear I was over extended and no one cared.... they just adjusted their expectations... not looking at filling the position I was taking slack up for.
Workloads are out of control but as long as us workers keep doing it there will be no change.
