@1fw Just curious where this layoff happened. In Aero Phoenix I never remember any Directors or above get axed. They just move around a lot in order to get promotions.

I have seen a director layoff his entire direct reports ( ie managers) and then they layed him off. Rare, yes but it has indeed happened, Also seen a VP demoted to SR manager and moved to entirely different SBU.

Nope, I worked there many years and never saw a manager or above get laid off. It's always targeting the regular workers. Time after time over 30 plus years.
