ASM here, I got back off a vacation today to find out that I got a glorious raise of 2%. Like, WTF? I took an ASM promotion back in October, and was told my raise this year would be based on performance as a rep (was trending for Summit when I accepted), and then KABAMM my area manager decided to stick it to me with an adjusted down raise because my store (which I was in for 10 weeks of 2021) has been trash for like as long as I’ve been with the company.
I didn’t sign up for this garbage, and I was already tenured long enough to be pay capped as a rep (+cost of living raises) so today I said f it and am going to take the meager pay bump they gave me back to being a Monday thru Friday opening shift rep who goes to Summit.
This is why they can’t get good managers. They lure the top reps into leadership positions then dump all over them.
