Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

No layoffs for the foreseeable future?

It seems that layoffs are not on the radar currently, so we should be safe for the foreseeable future, right?

Any layoff plans would target locals ( means born in usa, and not from India)
Always been always will be.

Can't layoff people that have already quit or retired. The Harvard Business Review case study title will be Hollowshell: How underpaying for talent led to an implosion of a business icon.

Honeywell has dozens of businesses in it's portfolio. Many of them may be performing well and won't be having layoffs.
At any given time there may be a handful of them that aren't meeting the financial goals. Those companies along with the previously mentioned plant closures due to the ongoing rooftop consolidations are likely going to have layoffs.

No layoffs but plant shutdowns are still eminent and that translates to a massive layoff.
