Too many managers and wanna be managers dont want skilled competent people. They dont care about things being done right. They only care about they themselves looking good. These types of people dont want to compete against competence, skill, or abilities.

To @2rxr+1cA58PoF I will attempt to explain why SOME managers mistreat, lie about, insult, abuse, and or dislike skilled capable employees. 1, is nepotism or favoritism an amoral manager who wants a low seniority coworker, buddy, or relative in a certain position will manipulate things to get that person in that position. Often times stepping over much better candidates for that job. 2 if an ignorant manager has one guy who kisses his @$$ and another employee who is more competent, tells the truth and exercises their right to challenge when told to do something unsafe there are managers who run off the competent employee and hang onto / reward the kiss @$$. These types of occurrences contribute greatly to the poor company morale.

BS posting. Managers don’t have any say in hiring as HR does this. Good employees make managers jobs easier which in turn helps the managers career. No manager wants bad employees as this is the formula to be replaced.

What's sad is there are people at UP that don't believe this exists. I guess they should be grateful they themselves don't work with dishonest liars with limitless ambition to benefit / advanceonly themselves by any means necessary.
