To @2rxr+1cA58PoF I will attempt to explain why SOME managers mistreat, lie about, insult, abuse, and or dislike skilled capable employees. 1, is nepotism or favoritism an amoral manager who wants a low seniority coworker, buddy, or relative in a certain position will manipulate things to get that person in that position. Often times stepping over much better candidates for that job. 2 if an ignorant manager has one guy who kisses his @$$ and another employee who is more competent, tells the truth and exercises their right to challenge when told to do something unsafe there are managers who run off the competent employee and hang onto / reward the kiss @$$. These types of occurrences contribute greatly to the poor company morale.
