Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Very, Very Sad. Stankey has done in a Year What Randall Spent a Decade Trying to Do

With over 20 years of service - I have worked 50+ hours almost every week in the last 10 years. (holiday / vacation weeks excluded). While I agree that we do have great vacation benefits even with the five days that were taken from us to give to new hires, the culture of the company has turned to a "if you don't like it you know where the door is" attitude.

Stankey is a poor excuse for a human being. That is not based on the changes he made but rather his attitude. I didn't like him when Randall was king and he is even worse as CEO. Every single peer in my group from 7 years of service to 42 think he is a POS and the company wants you to be tankful for eating c-ap.

Time for management to unionize. I would gladly spend month or two out on strike. I don't live paycheck to paycheck.

To the person who posted “shut it up and move on to another company” You missed the entire point and reason the individual posted here in the first place. Show some respect to those of us with 20+ years of AT&T service. We don’t like the managent of our company. The decreased stock and loss of vacation time. The forced retirement to obtain insurance. The potential of pension issues that still are looming around the corner. The horrible financial decisions from those in charge. The list goes on.

We worked hard in our jobs to build this company and ensure our futures. Because we care. However, having no control or say so, while watching those that do, destroy the company we helped maintain, is a very hard pill to swallow.

This board should not be a place to attack others but to actually listen. I don’t know about you, but I think we can all agree that at the current rate and direction managent is taking the company, AT&T could potentially be the next Titanic.

Please remember that is is not about you. Think about the bigger picture on how you contribute to John T. Stankey making $20,359,051 in total compensation. Of this total $2,900,000 was received as a salary, $7,566,500 was received as a bonus, $0 was received in stock options, $9,525,340 was awarded as stock and $367,211 came from other types of compensation.
Now get back in there and do an extra hour for the TEAM.

I’m salaried so no overtime.

How does my saving for years have a dang thing to do with a company with poor management? You truly are as dumb–stankey. Don’t reproduce please.

Then why are you griping if you don’t live paycheck to paycheck?S— it up and move on to a different company where you can feel more appreciated and can make a difference,I get it but careers are a choice, unless you are a major stockholder in this company.
