AT&T wants to be a wireless, content driven company with a fiber footprint. Period, end of story. It does not want the following:
Dial tone - they don't want to deal with it anymore.
Data networking, it failed at SDWAN as it was too late and too difficult to implement, no custom pricing
Network on Demand could have been great. Fantastic solution that nobody knew anything about.
Security, failed at that, as it was also too late, expensive and too difficult to implement
Consulting, too costly for the company and the customer
Ip Telephony - OMG, We went from Ring Central to who knows what, what a bomb
Ip Flex was very good, However, the credit we had to issue for lack of star codes k–led me Enhanced Features was good, but was way too late. The restrictions on the product were " horrible".
IP Toll free - great idea, implementation process was horrible.
This list goes on - obvious I am technical
