Yesterday, I was sent an email with over 15 points of Covid-19 dos and don'ts for AT&T properties. Including wearing a mask, don't socialize in break rooms, wash your hands, clean your desk before, during and after work periods, don't go to any manager desk area and several other points.
The last point was if you see anyone violating these points, it is your responsibility to report the violator to management or the EH&S.
I then received a call from a member of management to read same email to me and at the end of the call I was told, "So now you are covered, this will be considered a violation of the COBC and could lead to a level of discipline, up to and including termination. Do I have your commitment to adhere to these new polices?"
I did work in a CLG call center, currently WFH. But I thought what cheek! Next week I guess it will be delivered via ACT training as a reminder. We are bleeding customers and the company looking for ways to be able to discipline you for not following covid guidelines!!!
