Amazed at the number of talented folks leaving here in Cary. Just google "last day at sas" on LinkedIn... How bad is it going to get before the bottom falls out!!

The atmosphere is very tense. There are many red flags that there could be cuts. I hope everything will turn out for the best, but I am preparing for the worst.

Revenue numbers are terrible and the layoffs are not surprising. No company can keep workers to its detriment for too long. Still, I wonder if the SAS could still have done more for us?

What's the update? How many and where? Buyouts? Voluntary?

They put employees under hatchet managers and then force them to retire/strongly encourage to quit. The employee is then made to choose between being laid off or quitting.
