There were RIFs last week in North America, I know of 8 confirmed in my group (of ~100). Employees were told on Thursday that Friday was their last day at DXC. Severance was based on years of service, the ones I know of were people with 20+ years who ended up with only 8 weeks "pay in lieu of service." Mostly they were solid, experienced employees, none that were truly performance related. Nothing formal has been communicated by management, only that remaining team needs to pick up extra work. Again.
Is this really true? Can anyone confirm these statements from @YNbHAOY-1kyh
