Mattel is failing because it put all it's eggs in the Fashion Doll basket and now kids don't want them.
All the other brands have had to use their profits and budgets to artificially prop up fashion dolls because it's the only thing associated with Mattel that Wall Street understands
Now the day has come that Mattel's " all eggs in one basket" business practice endorsed and demanded by the Board of Directors, doesn't work and all the other core brands are weak and bleeding from sacrificing their futures to artificially prop up Barbie's present.
You'll never get out of this hole because:
1) It's too big
2) You won't admit to yourselves that Barbie is over
BTW - Barbie is over and has been for a long time - she's just another cast member of The Walking Dead. All the smiling millennial interns in the world posted on your LinkedIn clips won't save you now.
What's so ironic? Your house is burning down around you, and instead of putting all your resources to putting it out, you spend time and money posting sugary intern profiles on LinkedIn. How is ANY of that going to increase revenues?
