DXC/HPE had an entire team dedicated to supporting Skype for the company and the clients. That entire team has been WFR'd or quit and there is literally no one supporting it for the company or clients anymore beyond some Level 1 HD agents in low-cost countries.
I moved on to a different company and hired a portion of that team to run telecom at my new company. Their first recommendation was that we get rid of Skype and move the enterprise to Zoom which we have done quite successfully.
Skype ... in DXC? When not on a DXC VPN it works perfectly. THE DXC VPN's slow everything down. MY HOME bandwidth is better than the VPN. BECAUSE DXC IS CHEAP!

And DXC has made this into an art form. I thought HP/HPE was bad.
Unfortunately, the US legal system tends to reward rather than punish companies like this. They have probably stretched the boundaries in some cases but would be very difficult to prosecute. The only potential item would be the manipulation of stock prices.
This is more about crimes against humanity and the fact that such blatant disregard for employees at the profit of the top executives should be regulated. Just chalk DXC up to a long line of companies that manipulate the system to reward greed.
@3rwy OK, I'll bite - what crimes do you suspect DXC has committed for them to be prosecuted?
Hopefully it is to get their strategy and stories straight for the prosecutors.
Skype ... in DXC? You should try it, not seen a single call go by in the past 2 years where at least one participant has had serious issues joining or staying joined. Internal capacity of the DXC IT environment is simply not up to remote working. Its not just Skype either, Microsoft Teams and the like also suffer similar issues. Maybe as we reduce the headcount by 20K+ a year in the future we'll have enough capacity in a year or two!

I hope that the leaders enjoyed travelling in cattle class where there is no steak but pretzels and lemonade, cos that's all that they deserve.
They all have to get their stories straight..
It's likely that this is a routine meeting of (so-called) senior leaders that they hold from time to time and that there's nothing to see here.

Reality is its with all the regional leaders from across the globe so will no doubt cover how they will spin the Q1 results which Mikey has to explain away shortly - so lots of creative interpretations around the "huge" increase in "digital" revenue (DXC of course decides unaudited what is "digital"). Maybe a region doing particularly badly will be thrown under the bus (Americas last year perhaps UK&I this year?) as a distraction/sacrifice, and a lot of emphasis on the pivot to PwC Lite and of course a restatement and commitment to make the full year numbers (well at least on profits anyway - absolutely no chance already on revenue).
The Joke is, they will be done by 10am because there will be no raises, only for the people at the top.

@10een9ns-uvx there is a discretionary promotion/salary increase policy within DXC that not many people know about. This process happens quarterly and goes all the way to the top. It has been spoken about many times by other anons here.
