Will the same treatment happen when the headcount reductions come out? "As many of you already know" isn't a good intro for official company announcments. It shows how little faith they have in keeping their mouths shut beforehand.

I've been through layoffs now with 2 other companies. It's not a big deal. If it happens so what? Use the opportunity to find a better job or start something on your own.
