Trouble is all too often an invited guest. Never underestimate the power and influence of id--ts. Id--ts many times have a simple clear message albeit usually not based in fact. But when smart people start trying to influence people with long explanations, they lose, and the people will follow the clear id--t.

We will complain until we retire, form a union or put this piece of cr-p out of business.
@zm Ever think how a company constantly generate so much negativity ? How can you read this for a year and still not understand ? Have you ever worked for Opentext or just like wallowing in others misery online ?
I've been reading these forums for about a year, and honestly, the constant whining is exhausting. If you're unhappy here, then leave — no one's forcing you to stay. And if you're still here but miserable, maybe it's time to admit that the market doesn't value your skills as much as you think it does.
The truth is, those who spend all their time complaining are part of the problem, not the solution. OpenText doesn't need that kind of negativity. The new CEO should focus on flushing out the rotten apples so the people who actually want to contribute can move the company forward.
I’ve already safely reached the shore, but I can’t help sneaking curious glances back at OpenText, dying to see how its story ends. Deep down, I’m secretly rooting for this ship to go down in a spectacular wreck!
Security is the goal, but Open Text no longer trusts it own products to do security checks.

@c9 Well good for you. Some of us earn so little that severance will be immaterial beyond affording a tent and maybe a backpack. It's getting harder to nick a shopping cart these days, maybe a wagon or laundry basket on wheels can be bought with the tent?
