Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Sure is awful quiet before the holiday layoffs start.

You can almost smell it in the air!

Sometimes when I get nostalgic about the past, I come here to remind myself of the bitterness and negativity that I left behind. I am happy as a runaway slave.

@14y "I got wacked in the summer. It's been great not working here anymore."

Yet you can't stay away from the chat. Clown. Seems like the company made the right decision on you.

This is normal every new fiscal year. We hire a lot of people who don't like to work until every little thing for each new year is fully documented in triplicate on at least a dozen different SharePoint sites and Teams channels.

@we are you talking about layoffs at Juniper or HPE? I mean, could people at HPE feel a little bit safer?

Not quite definitely. Layoff list will start rolling in December and executed in Jan end or later.

Juniper wireless will cannibalize Aruba wireless. It won’t happen overnight but slowly and steady. In public, it is about one team but in private all the sh I T takes place !

Do you wear a Hermes belt and $2k executive sneakers? You're safe then.

So many Juniper need to go. What a mess. Sales will be hit harder than a jab to the nuts.

Nothing is happening, HPE gutted a lot of great people already. Q2, will probably be the movement.
