@w3 Some of this could be managers have been told to build out there own replacement plans and they are in next rounds or they are retiring. It can also be building up teams for a reorg.
@w2 you know it’s weird when you see managers go into conference rooms with no laptops and just their worker. Seems like they are having conversations about something layoff related. Seen 3 or 4 people now do this.
@vz all our jobs are very limited at this time.. some one on one meetings are about transferring work for future lay offs.
@cm lots of 1 on 1 meetings I’ve seen recently something seems off at this company. More layoffs coming?
They are brutal, from the call they then disable your account with no time to say goodbyes
@bt It's going to be quarterly..
So it shows they need to reduce at least 10K employees, is this going to be monthly?
Laid off between 80-100 in Webster.
Most people I have talked with that were released were told in person via one on one or teams call. Some were surprised most were not. The ones that have been talking about maybe retirement but then were surprised left me shaking my head like how can you can you weren't surprised when you were running retirement numbers the last 30 days.
@ah really?
Toast. 🍾🍸
At least 1000 were layed off this week. The Steve B email confirmed layoffs but stated no numbers. I got the numbers from current Xerox people in a few different organizations.
They will let you go via an email. No goodbyes, no party’s, no contact beyond what is absolutely necessary.
That’s how they do it now. Clean and concise, then HR handles it after that.
