RIF Announced today?

Heard the Plymouth Aero site in Minneapolis area announced a RIF today. Anyone hear of other sites doing the same?

Fortunately I left Honeywell to diversify and experience other commercial engineering opportunities not tied to the old Honeywell denigrate and demean senior engineers to five S by pushing brooms and clearing off their desks every night. The clown 5S cops would report you if you offended the 5S Gustaopo.

I left Honeywell in 2016 and fortunately due to my wide range of industrial exposures I retired early at 59. Honeywell Stimson was the most vile and vitriol corrosive environment I ever worked at in over 40 years as an engineering. Fortunately now I sleep very well at nights. Honeywell also known as Honeywell is the worst of the worst. Don’t be a lotus eater and believe and drink the coolaide.

@tv
I am now retired from HON and the EOY 401K award really messed up some of my gains considering the stock price fluctuations throughout the year. They always seemed to be able to pump the stock price approaching award time which means that us lowly employees were awarded less shares versus the shares being awarded incrementally throughout the year.

@ta Yes what heard was said in town hall insurance to drop and possible match 401k every check or so . Guess the are doing this because others looking to get job Honeywell see how bad our insurance is and how they do the 401k match EOY not best interest to ones looking at Honeywell.

It’s not holiday season yet. Minneapolis and Plymouth both could get some.

By the way! We’ll see what they do this Monday at Minneapolis location.

This isn’t related to this subject. We heard that our insurance is going down by 40%. They won’t tell us how high the deductibles are going up. I’m expecting maximum deductible under federal law.

Honeywell does spend “money” on 401k match. They match in stock. Just debits on the sheet nothing comes out of the bank.

Honeywell has a habit of ruining people's mood for the holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. How could they say they care for their people? Waiting until January practically makes no difference to Honeywell, but their end of the year's budget is so important to sc--w people up?
The money they "save" on sc--wing with people's 401K match is minimal compared to the size of the business, is that their way of indirectly saying their people are dispensable?
I'm just asking questions that I can't help to wonder.

I left the state of Minnesoviet over 25 years ago. I can't imagine why any company would want to put up with the radical communist nonsense there today.
