And to be clear, I didn’t make it about race or color. Nike did, with having a policy on race, color, and gender.
@t4 fired leaders were not male. They were also among the more competent and authentic people. Hence the down vote.

Sorry to hear this. If there is one thing I’ve come to realize at Nike, it’s that they will decide to get rid of the best and most experienced leaders during RIFs.
There is a reason that Nike has been in a downfall over the past decade.
Nike doesn’t want leaders. It wants managers. That fit racial and gender quotas.
Yeah. Wild that they exited who they did. Selection criteria is insane. Good leaders were let go.
