WIM Risk

They’re slow‑rolling the dismantling of the WIM examination team. The head was pushed out about four weeks ago, and I’m hearing another ten people were cut yesterday. With 70% of the work already shifted to India, the writing’s on the wall. The rumor now is that by the end of Q3, St. Louis will be the only U.S. location left standing.

@st and @nn

I am going to guess that since there’s two of you posting the same thing that you both are on those teams. Looking at the org chart there 8 people that would know that answer. I am going to guess it’s one of the P4s and not the M2’s.

Your source in Charlotte is incorrect. 10 is the number of examiners down from last year at this point which accounts for those who resigned in the 4th Q of 25, as well as those who retired prior to the 5/12 displacements. Only 5 were let go Tuesday and 3 of the 5 were in locations which they had already known were being eliminated, so no surprise to these folks. Its very easy for misinformation to be circulated around but please keep mindful that these individuals still employed him have to deal wth the constant noise. Your information is incorrect. How do I know? That's for you to figure out

@nj 10 is the amount of examiners the team is down over the last year. 5 were displaced last Tuesday. 2 resigned the last month and they also lost a few more (3) in the 4th Q of 25, hence the number of 10 examiners. This board is 90% BS and maybe 10% actuality.

Don’t worry about how I know.

@e9

I heard they had 10 displaced, from a formidable source in Charlotte. But you are only saying 5? May I ask how you know these numbers

@ey
Chi town tried to tear our market apart a few years ago right after Covid. When we pushed back, they folded like a pair of jeans on sale at the Gap. Leadership on the WIM audit/exam teams is weak. They know nothing about how business is done. You found one email or one note and made a huge deal of it, Whoop di do. We Moved on. Go LPL

How about the Chicago exam team? Get rid of those over zealous compliance wannabes.

The exam team did not have 10 people cut on Tuesday. They had 5 displaced across 3 teams. A few others resigned on their own to pursue other opportunities. India isn't capable of pulling data, let alone conducting exams just yet. In the future? perhaps.

@OP well St Louis was the original business site as well as Richmond. Maybe trying to shrink back down, you know can do the same amount of work and revenue with less people. But don’t worry technology CIO has it all under control 🤣

I helped train and work with the "off-shored" partners.Tthey all have MBAs or some type of advanced degree, however all of them struggle with basic excel skills and require step by step desk top procedures to get anything accomplished. truly a waste of time.

Wont name names, but there was an executive who turned in names to lay off, then took another internal role with WFA. Her name needs to be mentioned to federal Regulators. In a couple years when all the work the WIM Risk Team accomplished starts crack due to not keeping up, she needs to be exposed. Some managers are true sc-mbags and she took the cake. Most have no real idea of the job their employees do. I believe in Karma, so what comes around hopefully goes around.

I have waited so long for someone to bring up the WIM Risk Team..... Eventually, this will all catch up to the leadership when regulators come back in and discover all the work done has not been maintained. I will gladly become a whistleblower to expose the leadership of their incompetence. when i have a sweeping layoff of 78 people out of 177, bad things are going to happen.
