Anybody else shocked it's nearly the end of January and we're yet to see any layoffs this year? I know something might be coming soon, but still. I got so used to constant layoffs that this reprieve seems like a miracle in itself.

@vr Commercial had a large RIF at the end of January. The few remaining likely don’t have long.
Do not assume RIFs are not occuring. They do not communicate these RIFs via E-mails, Pulse News, etc. The way associates hear about RIFs is if their LOB/team is affected or other associates inform them. Those RIFd must sign an NDA.
A big RIF happened yesterday. More are probably coming. Very sad. They will regret their poor decisions some day and all due to greed.

Any insight into what departments are affected? There is quite a bit of restructuring in clinical areas and seems to be signaling something.
There have been many RIFS this year. HCN in CA was impacted a few months ago. Many others in PDS org. Just not always posted here as many don’t know about this site. Heard more coming either end of this week or next.
So were any department impacted today? I feel like this site is helpful to know which department was impacted because the company and leadership lack transparency. You only know who got the axe when more work is dumped on you sadly.
I just heard today more riffs are coming!! 😩😩
My manager told me tomorrow is supposed to be a big layoff day. I hope he's wrong.
January isn’t over yet. Still plenty of time for some riffing.
My RIF notice was 1/28/25, so hang tight…January isn’t over…they would want benefits to end up the end of the month for a 30 day notice.
It’s definitely quitter than usual. I typically start hearing things from people in the know by now if it’s affecting my area, but have heard nothing.
Keep an eye out for 1/29.
