People have been saying layoff coming "next quarter" for years in mass markets. Yes, it will eventually come...exactly as the original poster said...then all of you who've been waiting years can say "See, i told you". And while youre patting eachother on the back most of us will be patting ourselves on the back because weve been waiting for that enhanced buyout. lol
Blowing smoke your Delusional. Lumen executives are busy with the AT&T sale. Once the sale is complete, massive buyouts and layoffs will follow especially the mass market operations. It’s a no brainer.

LUMN got recogniized for connecting stuff, stock went up above 6, but now as that BS hype wears off it's back to 4's. Running a biz on hype is like Madoff making legit money.
But there was a recent RIF. Almost everyone is gone from SLED. Slowly but surely, so if, just when.

Ironically, anonymous has also guaranteed bankruptcy for lumen yet the stock goes up on rumors of anonymous being laid off.
The stock is responding favorably to the Anonymous RIF rumors
I heard everyone who thinks they are clever by posting anonymously is getting fired next Tuesday.
I also heard that next Friday is the last day for Anonymous. Tough times for all.

25 years in the industry. That’s cute. Hitting 38 years with this company (well, under multiple names) next month. Can’t wait to see what the next name brings. It might be called retirement. lol….seriously though, congrats on 25 years of survival in this industry. Doubt there will be many after you that make it that long.
@rt You can't get unemployment if you get fired. If you are laid off you can.
Check the laws in your state.
@j9 Thats what they want you to do quit. well I won't give them the pleasure of getting by that cheap, I'll ride it out until they say I'm fired, so they'll have to cough up unemployment. If they try to mess with that, I've got a good attorney or two.

No more layoffs but the force outs are working. If they give you 3 or more people’s jobs to do you will leave. Especially if you’re over 60. We’re the ones they want gone because we won’t drink the kool aid!

@OP Saying that Lumen will be having layoffs is on par with saying the sun will rise tomorrow. It's been a fact of life since the early 80's.
