It is already planned and will be executed in August. Not same like 2024 but still big
I know I will only be laid off if Lord Jesus wants me laid off. Word!
Had some fun working in Omaha back in the early 90’s. A co-worker introduced me to the band 311. “Omaha Stylee” gives me a chuckle every time I hear the lyric ”Got more funky styles than my laser jet got font”.

@12b And what’s wrong with Omaha!?
Sprin-T-Mobile
“Yellow People”, aka Legacy Sprint employees, ROCK!!! They are a talented group of employees who are truly making a difference. They were handed the reins and led the company in a new direction, at lightning speed. Congratulations, in advance, for another great quarter. Take a bow.📡📲🐎⚡🎉🎈🎇📈💰💵

@10r "38.4% cheaper cost of living in OP" and 99% decrease in quality of life. Without the KC Chiefs and KC Royals, KC Metro is Omaha.
@sb Not as RED as it could be.
Microsoft layoffs of 9100 announced today (4% of the workforce). 2290 of them in the Seattle area. These are not performance related but reducing "layers of management" as part of their investment in AI.
This will embolden Big Pink to reduce staff in PNW and move them to OP. Folks are beginning to realize that the 38.4% cheaper cost of living in OP and 60% cheaper home prices will get them to move or face the "Pink" slip.
@w7 Welcome to the forum, Ms. Dee Lusional.
You forgot to mention the Dividends. T-Mobile is able to generate strong earnings and maintain a strong financial position that outweighs the dilutive impact of dividends. Hopefully, if you don’t need the cash, have the dividends reinvested; Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRIP).

@rt Yep. Gotta get all the cr-ppy legacy Yellow people in one place
Did they ask you update workday yet? Usually about 6 months after that
@rt entire org will be relocated to OP.
Yeah, no. PWN'ers aren't moving to Red State Kanass.
@q5 If the goal is to transform IT into a world class software engineering organization then all engineers should be working together, in-person, 5 days a week from one location.
And that's why the entire org will be relocated to OP.
Individual Career and contribution need to be submitted by end Jul..Maybe it is coming soon?
@qd Over 40 are at risk. The average age of the Design Engineers in 2023 layoff was 50. The median was 50. Lots of high performers (me included) were axed, simply because we were deemed "too old".
@q5 “ Low performers are always at risk”. — That’s what I’m talking about! 😎🥳
You know there is no communication about this policy, since there are no performance reviews or individual development one can only assume they flag people for this. In my position my manager doesn’t give a flying F what I’m doing. This is not an exaggeration. He can go weeks months without a word and then only if somehow forced to engage me. I’ve accepted this but have grappled when and how they will deal with sub par performance. It can only be through layoffs. Just how a good cold hearted machine would do it. Eject that cog!
More shocked than bitter.
@b9 NPI = New Product Introduction. It’s when Apple rolls out their newest devices. Happens every fall.
I’ve heard rumor that IT will play the Amazon card and require everyone to work from a main campus or be asked to move on. Additionally, I’m hearing there will be a reduction in NTW headcount with more work going to FTEs. Low performers are always at risk.
@b9 New product introduction. That's when IT prays their stuff doesn't tip over and burn.
wrong. there will always be layoffs. who cares about some d-mb f named srini. he can't do anything about it.
No Layoffs in operations but people and positions will be moved around. You can write a check on this.
No layoffs. This is the verified.
What be NPI is?
Right around NPI. Srini wants Wall Street to see he's able to play American CEO.
Death, Taxes, and Toxic-Mobile layoffs.
