Thread regarding Gainwell Technologies layoffs

DOJ is looking at Gainwell

Look's like Gainwell has new problems. DOJ said they can be liable for a $500 million medicaid fraud that it ignored. And Treasury has set up a new medicaid fraud task force that we can report to.

And Bloomberg is still investigating I think.

Here is the task force info for Treasury.

The Treasury is interested in Medicaid/ Medicare fraud and they are willing to pay for your cooperation. Good luck! Do you think this is what RI has in mind? Cha Ching if you can provide proof!

Pretty scant evidence. Bloomberg gives no evidence of fiscal agent wrong doing and the words of the DOJ really don't indicate wrong doing by Gainwell.

@rj It definitely is the beginning of the end. All of the shady work is catching up to Gainwell.

But if this is who Gainwell is then they need to be shut down.

@d9 Bingo! going forward, not much riches to be found in IT programs supporting Medicare and Medicaid computer systems, it's going to be all about cheaper, cheaper, and then more cheaper.

It’s actually $500 Billion.

Gainwell is cooked. This is just one state. We all know they are ripping off all the other states as well.

@OP If Rhode Island state government works similar to other state governments that contract with Gainwell, there is required training each and every year that covers FCA. GWT has it's own class and the state can additionally require each GWT employee or contractor to take and pass the equivalent state imposed training including FCA. This training offers some support to the plaintiff's to address to the requisite scienter requirement. If your company and contract staff must pass 1 or even 2 annual training programs that include how to recognize false claims, well....you can fill in the blank from here.
