Even on this forum I have seen tips like “do only bare minimum” or “let the others do the donkey work”. It's disgusting!
These selfish people don't even take into consideration that someone has to get the work done and that their colleagues will do it in the end. Is the best solution they could come up with that their colleagues do double workloads because they do not want to do their job nor do they want to make an effort to find another job where they will be happier?

What You Get Is What You Pay For.
What do you expect from the employees with no raise since 10 years?
Cutting down the head count, increasing the work load for the remaining ones. My colleagues and I have worked 60+ hours per week. After office hours, at weekends. What was the result? 2 Years ago 20% were asked to leave. 2 Years ago the remaining 90% are asked to leave. From 40 down to 3. The reward for all the hard work, the overtime, the weekend work, was not a money, it was a "please leave the company".

In DXC culture - Pay rises and promotion is given to those who get others to do work
Why would you work like a dog without a pay hikes while Mike makes 21million. Why would you bust a gut for an incompetent management that ghost out resources leaving you and your colleagues to pick up the load. If you want to be exploited and exercise your stupidity at the same time, listen to Mr Shouty and do the job of two for the price of less than one.
FY23: Working Together to Win, what a crock of sh-t. If we were working together the executive team would give up some of their salary, bouns , stock options to help the people who do the real work.
1gfj+1g1P8Xka - snap with me as well as management bullying to get me to work weekends and nights to deliver their projects on time, followed by them making false charges up against me and then pushing me out of the door after 20 years of loyal service.
DXC is the worse company in the world that anyone can work for - best avoided!
In the past I have done 4 times the amount of work as the person sitting next to me - yet we get the same grade and pay-rise (if it happens) - which one of us is the biggest fool ?
Definitely do your job and continue to do it well, imo. As for picking up others' jobs, not so much. If you were paying a whole other person to do those things, then my pay shouldn't stay the same if I suddenly start doing them. Sorry about that.
Is this another post for Mr Shouty?
Missing the point that DXC exploits lower level employees expecting them to step up and do their managers jobs while managers are banking big salaries and bonuses.
Don't do the bare minimum just do the job you are paid to do and not someone elses job because they can't do it. No point doing more than that because there is no benefit just more and more work.
Not selfish , If we are not given pay increases it is like losing money. No increase then less work. Your a fool if you work ore than your 40 hours
