I have it on good authority: the plan is first 4 days in unassigned seating, then 5 days.
If you don't like it, you'll be asked to leave (as stated in recent townhalls)

@1vg Exactly. You’re being paid to do a job. If you don’t like it leave. Stop whining.
@1vg that's what I'm saying , its literally determined by the supreme Court to be unconstitutional. They can't ask you to do anything you don't want to do.
ok. indians RTO 5 days as well then
@1vf why can't employer who pays your salary require you to work from a given location?
If it can be done on a video call it can be done from anywhere, which means an employer can't in good faith torture employees and endanger they're health by making them drive to work every day
@1ma LOL. What???
Supreme Court ruled work from home is a constitutional right based on first amendment freedom of expression
No, requiring employees that were hired to show up and do the job that they were hired for is pretty much as legal as it gets. Sorry precious. lmao.
Did anyone talk with legal about this... Seems illegal
So I RTO and you’re fired? Very well I accept your offer!
@qs if that's true, then you should be happy with the RTO schedule. Awesome!
@df I work 5 x 10+, I would be happy to work 4 days in office :)
@c4 to be fair, technically they already said they can't control where we work or fire us for it
I find that there are places to work in the building away from the madness. I would prefer my own spot but it's not happening. I'd like to know how the boss is going to drop by now when we don't have a permanent station. Maybe it's a good thing.
They are not getting rid of 9-80s. We had that for many years well before hybrid. With the exception of maybe the ELT, high level GMs and VPs enjoy the 9-80s and WFH Fridays that helps them balance their already busy and complex lives.
Many professionals in refineries get to work 4 10s.
As if refinery operators work Monday-Friday.
Typical moaning americans, guess another reason we need to offshore to india
Legally they can't ask you to where you are working from, it's in the constitution
I have it on good authority that I'm in the control room of the refinery Monday through Friday
As a slacker, is laying on the floor with my laptop acceptable? I mean I’m in my 12 week of Fantasy Football. That takes hours of analyses. But accrues the keyboard strokes and break times necessary for my safety goals. By the way, I didn’t play Houston’s defense against the Bills. Total defense points. 19.82. Da---t. Stupid analysts. Sounds like my Indian Counterpart's.
@at exactly. Shape up or ship out it’s a business. Not kindergarten.
Love to see a once great company slowly die an embarrassing death by it's own stupidity.
Shape up or ship out. This is no business for delicate little children who need to stay home with blankie.
@OP seems unlikely. Share more details or it sounds like bs
With the exception of ExxonMobil, many of our competitors already offered 9/80s with WFH on the working Friday years before COVID. So I would hope this is false. I totally get the RTO Mondays, but this would just be totally unnecessary.
