Heard several people were impacted with the latest wave of ‘Coffee Badging’, anyone know what metric and timeframe this is for? I heard they were going to pull reports from January-May for those under 7 hours a day, can any manager here confirm?

They are looking at hours but haven’t seen any metrics on time spent
@bm you know a lot about what coffee badgers do while you’re in the office working your butt off to make up for those of us wfh.
@q6 true. But also so many other companies on this site actually post about layoffs instead of crying about other stuff or one recent post asking about a DR test that happens every year at every company.
Like that water cooler talk is what lunch at the cafeteria or after work gatherings is for. Talk about business and your navigating of RTO/coffee badging or other things there…
So many wasted stupid posts on this board compared to other firms.
@p2 technically they share this one. Meanwhile other firms have parent and child companies on this site as separate listings/entities.
Heres a post on the recent acquisition of Schroders…

@dq wow, you’re right, Nuveen isnt on this site. How interesting!
@dq Mate, Nuveen employees are some of the lowest paid in the asset management industry.. Morale isn't great and took a leg lower after the Schroders announcement.
7 hours sounds ridiculous especially since many people skip lunch during the day working… Also many teams have metrics to score performance. You can be a top performer at home!
T asked HR to solve office attendance and their solution was to do one of these fake posts every week. Well done.
The things you people on the TIAA side focus on is so funny. You never hear people talk about this kind of stuff on the Nuveen side
@bm All that post did was make me chuckle lol…..
@bm you ok? Those were some big feelings
I have zero sympathy for Coffee Badgers. Since when is it up to each individual which rules are worth following and which are OK to ignore or manipulate? I hate all these smug entitled humps who toss around straw men like, " I get WAY more done from home than I do wasting my time commuting to the office..." Bullshyrt they do. They call into meetings from the hardware store while they're picking up propane for their BBQ or shopping for groceries, or sitting in line for an oil change. They buy mouse jigglers so they can watch Netflix and Hulu. If every stay at home worker was as productive as they claim to be then corporate productivity would be WAY up and every company in America would sell their real estate and require people to work from home. 100% of these Coffee Badgers swear up and down that they work harder and smarter from home. Liars. Total Bullshyrt artists. Don't p-e on everyone else's leg and claim it's raining. You want maximum convenience and minimum hassle for YOU personally. GFY. It's a job. What you "prefer" and your personal take on productivity don't mean a thing. What other employers are doing doesn't mean a thing. They aren't paying you. You are an employee. You don't make the rules regarding the terms of your employment. If you don't like it, GTFO.
@b5 I was in Frisco recently for an offsite and it looked like a fire drill around 2pm. The whole staff was gone!
Can confirm, New York and Frisco are dead after lunch time lol
@OP CAN WE STOP POSTING THE SAAAAMMMMMEEEE MESSAGE EVERY 3 WEEKS FOR GOD'S SAKE
@ag um not just Charlotte, if at all. Its the New York office "because I have a train to catch" that's a ghost town in the afternoon.
FAKE NEWS
@ag probably closer to 95% lol
Parking is empty around 2:30
7 hours a day? That would be 90% of the Charlotte office.
Didn’t hear about coffee badging but I know several folks from Cyber were let go recently… although I wouldn’t be surprised if the requirements for being in office are tighter now to let more people be let go…
