Removing RSU is the best business decision. illumina has exceptional gross margin now. Give credit where it is due... A toast to Jacob!

In much the same way that OGS and ETH were “at the wheel” at Manchester United. And look what happened there.
Whoever posted this can go fu-k themselves
And now that only people above AD gets the shares automatically we can finally 'win together'. Yeeehhhh!
Wait a second.... hmmmmm....
Yay Jacob has clawed Illumina back to half what it was 10 years ago but with the added bonus of a massively disillusioned workforce with rapidly shrinking interest in the company (literally and figuratively) and apparently even more rifs, so it's not over, and no rif last quarter was the anomaly.
@pw share repurchases amounted to a total of $700M so far this year. As per comparison, R&D spend was $670M so far this year.
Interesting to see the 1.24M share repurchase in Q3...I don't know how this relates to the removal of RSUs, but really a bummer since that was employee money.

Who is actively planning layoffs?
As layoffs are being actively planned?
Absolutely! And here's a whole lot of other ideas that are going to increase revenue:
- Employees paying for parking, let's turn those parking lots into $$$!
- Bathroom subscription: install badge readers outside bathrooms and allow only one break per day per employee. Employees can purchase monthly memberships to increase the number of breaks allowed.
- Cubicle selection fee: there's plenty of seats in the icafe, but if you want to work in a cubicle you'll have now to pay a yearly premium. Extra fee applies to choose in which site is located.
- Jacobization: we take pride in being spineless sycophants, so hair will be allowed only for customer-facing roles. Everyone else will have to shave their heads bold to celebrate our dear leader. Unless, of course, willing to pay for a hefty monthly membership.
Fully agree with you, with Jacob on the wheel illumina will regain its former state. We'll done Jacob.
