Ok someone somewhere knows exactly what is coming in the next 4-6 weeks, if I am getting a layoff then some time to apply to other better companies would be very welcome! Someone has walked by a conference room and seen the closure lists or the new Org charts so come on spill the beans? Orlando got a big bunch of the frontline gone and by my calculations we need about 2500 more to go to hit the number we all keep hearing about!

One thing for everyone to keep in mind. The layoff numbers do not reflect those that took VRPs or people that left prior to the reorganization because they knew their positions were being eliminated
I don’t know this person but it doesn’t matter which thread she has something negative said about her on almost every one
Perhaps at least the remaining DPA leadership that the infamous G-ayatri brought on board will finally be let go. In most cases, those were highly questionable appointments - draining PEP resources and, by all accounts, contributing significantly to the S&T dysfunction that led to our failed strategy.
@pj so they closed two Frito plants and for once filed WARN notices...proper facility closure they have no choice.
And Ramon continues to get millions while people lose their jobs. What wrong with this picture?
Nothing today. We’ll find out when they’re good are ready to let the cat out of the bag and not before.
Hearing some S&T employees might’ve been let go today
I heard today for sure a large announcement across the board.
Last comment is spot on. Productivity goes to all time lows weeks before a Reorg . They’re not rolling it out until the planned date.
@OP at this point leadership is wasting everyones time. Everyone knows something is coming and next few weeks productivity goes to 0.
Communications with retail and foodservice distributors basically paused pending changes, other than to ask about cutting marketing spend soon.
Yes, layoffs are inevitable. You can count on them every year. This organization has closed multiple facilities this year and this will accelerate next year and the year after.
Some of the rats are already jumping of the sinking ship
Just going to say this. You have options, but you keep waiting for the executioner to pull the rope. Why? It’s your life, drop a couple and leave. Don’t give them the satisfaction!
At least tell us which groups will be impacted
@be Orlando Frito lay manufacturing site and WH ops closed last week. It was a site that needed a lot of constant repairs, but the people were great. To my knowledge, this is the first site we’ve closed in a while that included PC mfg. we never even got corporate comms about the closure. People at HQ found out via rumor mill and local reporting. Ridiculous.
Which Orlando site are you referring to? Beverage or the Frito on that closed?
I am expecting to hear something soon. I am one of 16 payroll HR admins left on the Frito side.
