I’m not being paid on accounts I work because I’m being told I wasn’t coded to the account. I asked if they could skate invoices and was told no.

@p8 I'm lucky enough to have the best AE in the company supporting me as a CE. If anything, I firmly believe the AE that I am mapped to should be paid exactly the same as I am. I
that happens when the code for other is used. the system doesn't have a department or representative to list so that commission just ... doesn't go anywhere. I used to work in an Other space and often the people whom were supposed to make commission on my work never got any.
I don't think they know how to fix it other than to recode the opportunity.
@OP that is called slave labor
@p8
Hard to believe?
Like when they forced field on AM's who have larger accounts and most of the time they didn't pull thier weight or contribute and took a % of everything sold.
Love how the AEs think the CEs are overpaid and don't do anything and the CEs think the AEs don't do anything.
Usually my AEs just get an entirely passive split on every account they aren't actively working.
Someone’s got to pay for the executive team’s Olympics trips.
I spend most of the time not selling but invoice digging, trying to make sure that the comp actually aligns to my own tracking that I use... You should as well..
I was overpaid by 14k. When I brought it up they just shrugged it off.
Don’t you all get it yet? Change comp plans and territories and job titles and spiff % payouts etc just enough, sales reps might just lose track of how badly this company wants to steal our money and get away with it while letting the CEO skate through the epic failure of the last few years and buy another mansion or two. EPIC FAILURE ACROSS THE BOARD.
@ae
If they can't compensate sales correctly...that's a big sign of how bad things are. Watch your commissions closely. They don't realize that having to scrutinize things like pay wastes time rhat can be otherwise spent on servicing customers.
Our organizational data is so bad, they don't know how to fix it. Therefore, ignoring is the only path forward.
@OP All Pay and commission is incorrect. They need to fix pay, spiffs and commissions for all of sales.
