Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Someone forgot their ethics training

"Three people familiar with the reorganization said the unit's investment committee was reduced to two members: Tan, and Intel's Chief Financial Officer, David Zinsner"

"Two employees familiar with the matter said some within Intel felt pressure to consider portfolio companies where Tan had an interest to align with his strategic priorities."

@na
It's truly amazing all of you are so surprised, asking isn't this Illegal? Meanwhile the man in the white house takes Bribes from everyone and every company. Extortion from US companies, foreign companies Universities and even Law Firms rolling over providing millions in free legal help. In modern history the US government is currently at at it's most corrupt. Even the Supreme Court is enabling by rolling back 100's of years of precedent. This is how Fascism works. Get used to it!

Just speed running the If you're gonna be corrupt, but really fking corrupt playbook here.

Joking aside, I literally cannot understand why the board and shareholders sit back and let this continue. Just nakedly corrupt in everything he does.

Isn't this illegal?

LBT personally benefits from the business being sold.

LBT is the CEO of Intel, and he's using Intel as a shill buyer to drive up the sale price.

If there is no other buyer in the end, Intel is forced to buy it.

There's only one winner here, and it's LBT.

Everyone else just loses.

Considering LBTs startup track record, maybe the company should be giving his pet companies consideration.
