@1bk Maybe delayed since they are working on your PowerPoint.

Are we sure AIP will still be paid out 3/13?

I haven’t gotten my AIP details yet. Is there a holdup?

Check out your "total rewards" statement that is available as a link on the intranet. Click your base pay. And look in the paragraph below your amount. Your range is 80% to 120% of that total.

@ae In their defense, most of them aren't happy to share it and were forced to give less than they wanted to, so they do tend to put it off.

It's no excuse, since we all want to know as soon as possible, but I sometimes think that's why they often delay till the last few days.

@np When it was on the intranet, that was a mistake; it was never to be passed around us plebes. They finally figured out they dun goofed and removed it.

It's in their best interest that we don't know what the pay scales are, and they ensure we don't.

@mz you can look up your position or a similar one on the internal job posting board and view the MRP there. An MRP listing used to be available on the intranet but if it still is, I can't find it.

@ak You are correct. The salary range was removed from the Merit/AIP PDF years ago. I am not sure why. I had to twist my manager's arm during my Merit/AIP review meeting a few years ago to get the salary range with MRP out of them again. I guess it is time to twist an arm again with this latest manager to see how underpaid I still am currently. Maybe they don't want employees to know the MRP for their position so that won't have something to use to argue for a larger raise. That would be my best guess.

@fp My team just had a highly desirable candidate turn us down. I'll admit I was privately like, "good for you, girl."

1.5 and 100%.

I'm above MRP; haven't received more than 1.5 in four years. In fact, I only got 1% the last two.

So mileage will vary among others; lower on the payband, higher the merit. Unfortunately, my current boss is too new to know she could've given me a one-time merit in excess of the 1.5, which is how former, savvier bosses handled it, but whatever.

I AM relieved I got AIP at 100%, though. I thought I might, but was still pleasantly surprised.

The normal 2 percent merit. Needless to say, I am not one of the favs on my team because I am not in their female gossip clique, but I carry twice or more the workload of my peers (again, because I am not a fav...).

@ft - He is not the first corporate bs artist to suggest the lateral move idea. It’s a recycled attempt at appeasing unsuspecting associates.

3.4% raise, 89% AIP, 115% total reward.

@k2 Yes, but it is frowned upon. I heard a rumor that one person wasn’t awarded AIP and person complained and manager had to correct it and give something.

Could manager decide to give zero bonus and AIP for some, so no blue paper?

I had to look back, the last time I got close to 3% was 2022, and the last time I I got a higher merit than 3% was 15 years ago.

@fp well according to HR guy Ryan Craig the new way to think about our career is lateral moves. He must know how hard it is for anyone to advance that this is the new smoke they are blowing up our a-s. He suggests just a bunch of lateral moves. Lateral moves usually don’t come with any significant pay increases. Duh Craig people need to make more money because merits don’t cover cost of living increases. We’re not d-mb Craig. Lateral moves su-k.

Was around 111% of MRP. Merit was a little over 4%, rated significantly exceeds expectations. However RIFs are expected in my org.

I will always regret taking this job over the other offer I received. I was stupid I thought Elevance was a big company that I had room to move and grow with. And every March I regret it the most. Every year is the same regardless if I’m rockstar or average Joe. It doesn’t matter the it’s the same 2 to 2.5% every year. At first I thought it was a fluke and this is my third year here, nope, no different. I’m out of here when job market improves . This company is not worth it with a constant threat of layoffs and the pennies they throw at us that doesn’t even come close to inflation and then they pull a fast one and divide up our paycheck into 27. I still am very thankful for a job however, I’m not knocking myself out working after hours for a request somebody put in at 3:45. The sheer audacity of leaders and executives here is gross and out of touch.

@f3 HR may try to match the AIP data posters here share with corporate payroll data to ID associates. Great use of company time and money, of course.

@f0 what does this mean “They are likely looking to target the deposit. “. I don’t understand what you are trying to say.

Heads up. Something like this post is social engineering. They are likely looking to target the deposit. Pay attention to when people are asking for NON-LAYOFF related dates and company procedures...

My first year. Do we get a email? When is it deposited? How can I see it?

@en Your manager “should” discuss it with you then give you a pdf document. The payout will be with your regular paycheck so looking at your payslip will give details. You will be taxed out the wazoo on this so you walk away with about 40% depending on 401k contribution election.

1.99%. Even though I “meet expectations” and my target was 3.5%. A ‘Top 30 Forbes company’ that can’t afford yearly pay raises for its employees.

@a6 I’d rather they don’t try and discuss with me why I got what I got. I had a manager say “ I gave you x amount” in such a stupid way like they did you some big favor. It was her first year as a manager and you could tell she was feeling drink on power or something. Nope you gave me the bare minimum and now you act like I owe you some big favor. SMH

Received the biggest Merit in 4-5 years right before I was Rif'd. Good luck out there. What they "give" you means nothing.
