Stock is tanking today. Normally, after a big RIF, the stock market reacts favorably.
She is TOXIC.
Gail or any of her flying monkeys that read this - STOP, just stop your greed and corruption is beyond even the great COVID scam.
It sounds like the OP is a veteran employee, given how leveraged they are by the company stock price, and they made it through the interview process a long time ago.
It also sounds like their post about the SLT ruining careers suggests that someone close to them was recently terminated.
The responses in this thread are genuinely concerning. I hope senior leadership and HR are taking a close look at what’s being said here.
First, there should be a more rigorous interview process to help ensure candidates demonstrate evidence based thinking and sound judgment. Foundational education and critical reasoning skills matter especially in a healthcare environment.
Second… even with strong hiring practices, some individuals may still make it through. That makes ongoing training essential, particularly around scientific literacy and how to evaluate credible information.
Finally… it’s important that employees align with the core values and standards expected in healthcare. When there are clear gaps, they should be addressed and to maintain the integrity of the organization.
It is honestly crazy to see some of these comments. A baseline level of education and critical thinking should be expected in any professional environment.

At this point..,maybe you would be happier in a field that better aligns with your expertise… like writing plot lines for conspiracy documentaries or managing the comment section of a YouTube video titled “THE TRUTH THEY DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW.”
Also, quick reminder for the crowd blaming CEOs for their stock losses …. that’s not how this works. Investing isn’t a guaranteed win button, it’s a game you choose to play. If it were all upside, we would all be retired on yachts by now.
