Not surprised. It seems meeting metrics and the menial management tasks associated is more important that actually solving a customers problem. Our entire systems seem to be set up in that manner. Recently had a bunch of tickets come in and had to spend a good 30-45 minutes to, you guessed it, meet metrics before even beginning to start figuring out the real problem. But I digress, who cares anyways as long as we meet numbers upper management is happy, regardless of how actual service suffers.

Nothing for our department so far. If anything, our work load is expected to increase after the sale is complete.

lets guess how many .. I will say about 2100 will be laid off by early February.
I have heard several hundred back office support folks will be let go with automation of their tasks. This was from a VP just informing us of potential cuts he knows of. I guess in next few weeks we will know if true or just BS

I have not heard any rumors, rumbling or seen any layoffs yet.
Mass Markets are promised jobs through the close of sale, now supposedly Feb. 2, but look for a bloodbath afterwards.
