How are Work Councils handling layoffs in your city? What information did you receive? It seems some people in Málaga were told they were impacted, while in Barcelona the WC keeps hiding behind the confidentiality.

Any WoC Rep in this channel who can confirm when the affected employees in Spain will be communicated ? Dates ? Date range ?

@479 It's not sure they'll respect the notice period. They didn't do it in past layoffs.
@46t the exit date is 28th Feb and notifications will normally happen one month in advance …
Does someone know when layoffs notifications will happen? They wouldn't even tell us this.

@43f if you are based in Spain and follow the WoC slack channels you have all the information about conditions and dates for communication and exit - what do you exactly need to know that is not posted there ?

Exit conditions have been published in the WoC slack channel . Volunteers accepted until Jan 16th, exit date 28 th Feb, HR will probably notify impacted people end January …
@av Nope, unfortunately. After the negotiations end, the WCs will need to provide the dates in which people will be notified.
@at and do you have any idea of when HR is planning to send the meeting invite to the impacted ones ?
@a6 I really hope they will tell us if we're on the list after the negotiations end. They've said that the names will be known only when HR sends the meeting invites.
No news but the negotiation period finish on 24 th Dec , the WoC should be able to confirm names right after that if asked …
